Field DevOps Engineer

Company Overview:

Our client is a leading cloud monitoring and analytics platform for modern applications. Our platform brings together data from servers, containers, databases, and third-party services to provide a holistic view of an organization's infrastructure and applications. Job Overview:

As a Field DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with our internal customers and external DevOps teams to help them adopt and integrate our platform into their existing infrastructure. This is a highly technical and customer-facing role that requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work directly with customers to understand their infrastructure and application needs and provide guidance on how to best utilize the platform

- Design and implement solutions to integrate with customers' existing systems and tools

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers, including onboarding and integration challenges

- Collaborate with sales, support, and product teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and product improvements

- Provide technical expertise and training to customers on platform and features

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud monitoring to continuously improve our product and customer solutions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, preferably as a DevOps Engineer or Solutions Engineer

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
