Role : Managed Services - Service Architect

Job Description

The candidate will have proven, hands-on pre-sales and service design expertise focused on Managed Services for enterprise applications and custom / digital solutions. You will architect and support pre-sales activities for large / complex Managed Services opportunities, bringing thought leadership and your experience to the role.

The successful candidate for this role will join a global team in the development and growth of Managed Services at client.

As well as directly architecting and supporting pre-sales activities for Managed Services opportunities, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Managed Services portfolio of offerings. **

Reporting to VP of Managed Services, the role will undertake the following responsibilities;**

  • Key member of Global Managed Services organization
  • Pre-sales support for multi-tower integrated deals
  • Craft proactive deals for Managed Services
  • Solution design large Managed Service deals with automation / AIOps
  • Contribute to the development & standardisation of the Managed Services offerings & portfolio
  • Managed Service evangelist client-facing, with Industry Analysts and internal stakeholders (marketing, sales, pre-sales)
  • Support increased order book, conversion rates & pipeline growth
  • Create re-usable materials
  • Cross-region collaboration
  • Support enablement across Sales, Pre-Sales and Delivery

Core Competencies (Essential)

  • Being a visible, engaged and active leader who creates an open and honest culture
  • Providing Thought Leadership to explore opportunities that will mature the client s service portfolio, provide added value to our customers and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Proven Service Strategy, Service Design and Service Management capabilities gained within a Service Provider organisation.
  • Working with internal, and external service delivery stakeholders to build relationships and enhance business value provided through Managed Services
  • ITIL 4 service management expertise
  • Agile Service Management with an executive level understanding of DevSecOps and associated disciplines and how these work in an ongoing Service Management context
  • Practical experience of driving business benefit and cost optimisation using automation technologies
  • 10+ years experience in similar key role preferably in a combined enterprise applications and digital infrastructure business; with the last 5 years being primarily focused on Cloud-based solutions
  • Proven experience in building effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Value focussed with strong business acumen
  • Analytical and methodical, with keen attention to detail
  • Strong influential personality with effective negotiating skills
  • Ability to shape, adapt and improve processes
