Business Architect - Digital Health Transformation

Job Description:On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Business Architect to work on projects designing and delivering digital health tools and platforms to support the ongoing evolution of connected health systems and digitally enabled health care. Responsibilities:• Performing Current State Assessment and Architecture Gap Analysis.• Enhancing and validating proposed conceptual architecture reference model. • Developing vision and future state Business Architecture(s).• Creating an approach and roadmap to transition from current state architecture to planned future state architecture(s).• Assessing, documenting and communicating benefits, impacts, risks and organizational implications of future state Business Architecture model(s) (e.g. workflows, policies, HR impacts etc.).• Participating in weekly and ad hoc meetings to support timely provision of information related to design decisions, progress, status, issues, risks, and solutions related to project deliverables. • Leading meetings with subject matter experts with the goal of developing and validating current state and target architectures.• Collaborating with cross function and multi-disciplinary teams across multiple organizations to complete assigned tasks and deliverables.Qualifications:• A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in clinical informatics, health information science, data science, and/or computer science including training and/or experience in designing business architecture in health technology domain.• Previous experience working at senior levels in either general public sector or health care in a Canadian province and especially BC.• Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment is a must• Strong forward thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in layman’s terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholder groups.• Proven success in architecting integrated business architectures from business, conceptual, logical and physical levels.• Able to work expeditiously as an individual contributor and as a team member.• Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks.• Working knowledge on and experience with agile as well as waterfall project management concepts, practices, and deliverables.• Exceptional MS Office skills.Hourly Rate: $95-$105 per hour.Affinity Earn:Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
