What you’ll be doing:
The Client Reporting Lead role is a senior, hands-on role focused on establishing the right reporting and data foundations for our clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience as well as ongoing maintenance. This is a client facing role and will work cross-functionally across our Client Strategy, Media and Internal technology teams to build and execute on cross-channel reporting solutions. The right candidate will possess a client services mindset and the ability to translate business needs into technical reporting solutions.
Lead the discovery process with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business goals to ensure the right reporting solutions can be implemented
Be the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams for reporting and dashboarding solutions
Own the reporting requirements gathering process for new clients as well as ongoing enhancements for existing clients
Lead the establishment of data foundations by understanding the current campaign and data taxonomy, and recommend best practices to client and internal media teams for implementation
Establish SOPs with clients and internal teams around metadata management related to reporting
Consult with clients around data integration initiatives and partner with technical data engineering teams and BI teams for implementation
Proactively assess opportunities for process improvement around requirements intake and execution and recommend solutions
Track the adoption rates of reporting solutions across clients and internal teams to inform additional reporting enhancements

Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
6+ years of experience in a client facing data strategy, analytics, or reporting role
Strong knowledge of marketing platform datasets and reporting capabilities across key channels (Google ads, Bing ads, Facebook ads, Pinterest, Amazon ads, Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk etc.)
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting/BI requirements for implementation
Experience in basic data transformation and parsing using SQL queries, Python or dbt
Experience working with at least one of the following Modern Cloud Native Data Warehouses (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
Strong SQL skills with fundamental understanding of data and data models
Strong experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and setting up the right technical and data foundations with respect to campaign naming, taxonomy, utm parameters etc.
Ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting for data anomalies, business logic definitions etc.
Proficiency with using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI or similar platforms
Demonstrated experience leading client projects through successful execution
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts easily to business and non-technical audiences
Comfortable working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders
Strong task management, organization and prioritization skills

Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $110,000 - $140,000 plus performance bonus of up to (8%). Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted up to or over 100% of the offered base salary (no cap).
