UST is recruiting for a Risk & Regulatory Data Analyst, who will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting financial and regulatory data to support decision-making processes within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include assessing risk exposure, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing insights to optimise business strategies.Location: UK, RemoteType: PermanentStart: ASAPThe Role: - Leverage analytical skills, creative problem solving and project management skills to steer and uplift the existing Data Governance model - Organise discussions with key stakeholders to understand how our technology works, thereby empowering you to define specific data attributes and identify the relevant owners and source system(s) along with Data flows - Provide effective thought leadership to navigate the evolving financial regulatory landscape and help develop technological solutions to build appropriate architecture - Improve the risk framework for data governance by documenting existing controls, analysing their suitability, and recommending new controls for implementation - Manage relationships with professionals from other teams and divisions by articulating recommendations in order to gain cross-divisional consensus - Develop strong working relationships with Sales, Legal, Compliance, Controllers, technology, and other groups in establishing the Data Governance model and keeping it up to date - Proficiency in Business Intelligence & Low code Automation solutions to digitise the Data Governance framework and improve efficiency - Engage with relevant stakeholders for Data remediation to support regulatory uplift or data clean up as an interim measure, while we work through the strategic solution

What you will bring: - Experience with configuring and using Data Governance tools (e.g. Collibra) is preferred - Knowledge of the investment management industry and GSAM is a bonus - Business Intelligence experience & relevant certifications (Tableau/ Alteryx) are a bonus - Working with financial data and having capital markets experience - Financial or Risk reporting | MiFID reporting | Trading systems | Trade processing - Knowledge of financial instruments: Equities | Fixed Income | Derivatives - Data Analysts/Engineers with experience in Data Quality and Governance - Working with cloud and on-prem, able to write code, working with large scale data - Strong analytical and project management skills - Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, personalities, and broad-based coverage - Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and adaptability to other software products - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
