We are seeking a new Associate Product Manager who will support the development, delivery, and growth of our existing and forthcoming digital medical products. If you can bring your sense of purpose, together we will impact the world. **

How can you make an impact?**

As our new Associate Product Manager , you will be an integral part of our Professional Services product team, supporting senior product managers on the development and execution of the product roadmap for a suite of digital medical products. You will have the opportunity to lead the discovery and development of key product features, lead user testing, perform market research and data analysis, and work cross-functionally with product design, engineering, content, and marketing to create and launch delightful learning experiences for our users and customers.

This position can be fully remote or hybrid/in-office depending on candidate’s proximity to McGraw Hill office locations. Candidates that reside within the Eastern Time Zone are preferred. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will join our Medical Digital Product Management Team within the Professional Services business unit of McGraw Hill. **

What you will be doing:**

Working with the Senior Product Manager, project manager, and cross-functional product team with the following:

  • Conducting user research, performing user tests, and interpreting, summarizing, and sharing the findings with the team
  • Conducting market research, keeping a pulse on both medical education trends and larger edtech trends, and presenting insights to the team
  • Collecting, interpreting, and visualizing product analytics data to help improve and iterate on product features
  • Working collaboratively with product designers and engineers on the development of key features
  • Writing product requirements, user stories, and defining acceptance criteria
  • Working collaboratively with marketing and customer success on the launch of key features
  • Communicating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and customer success on product features and benefits

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of working experience
  • Demonstrates a deep passion for product management; can be through product, business or technical related roles, or personal projects
  • Sincere empathy for customers and end-users; deeply curious to find out about their pain points, their jobs-to-be-done, and their thoughts on our products
  • A passion for learning and problem solving; ability to distill customer and user feedback, business needs, and technical constraints into thoughtful and strategic recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills; some experience analyzing quantitative data preferred
  • Experience with or strong familiarity of user research and testing methods
  • Proven track record of managing key projects, preferably for a digital product
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player; proven ability to collaborate both within and across teams

Nice to haves:

  • Previous experience in education, edtech, or learning environment
  • Previous experience working with UX designers and engineers
  • Familiarity with Agile software development
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms (e.g., Pendo, GA4)

_The average base salary range for this position is around $76,000- $85,000 annually, however, base salary pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
