Position Overview**
We are seeking a highly qualified and state-certified Elementary Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering specific course content in our online environment, providing instruction, support, and guidance while focusing on the individual needs of each student. **
Key Responsibilities**
Take ownership of students' academic progress and attendance, communicating high expectations and actively supporting students' achievements.
Prepare students for standardized tests and conduct live synchronous teaching sessions for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Collaborate with local, regional, and national teams to enhance instruction, resources, interventions, and data-driven decision-making.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and their families, providing regular communication and support.
Organize social and educational activities for students and families, fostering a sense of community within our virtual environment. **
Requirements**
Bachelor's Degree
Valid South Carolina teaching certificate
Six (6) months of student teaching experience
Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week
Professional home office setup to maintain focus during work hours
Willingness to travel occasionally for school functions and professional development opportunities **
Desired Qualifications**
Pedagogical knowledge and ability to apply critical thinking in teaching
Familiarity with state content standards and curriculum alignment
Adaptability to embrace change and ensure excellent student outcomes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new technologies
