Job Description

Key Responsibilities 
• Providing exceptional customer service 
• Monitor and support clients, providing higher level support and analysis to other support 
teams.
• Troubleshoot problem areas as required, providing in depth network support to both 
support and project teams.
• Ensure that business critical services on the network are reliable and secure.
• Analyse the needs of the corporate customers and design network solutions, implement 
them, configure and test routers and switches
• Working with third party providers as well as large business clients in order to resolve any 
problems and come up with appropriate solutions to new requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation as relating to network configuration, network mapping, 
processes, and service records.
• Configure networks to ensure smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives 
and processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience
• IT related degree and/or MSc
• Minimum of 3 years customer support in the ICT industry
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to problem solve and make informed decisions.
• Ability to liaise between customers and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Experience with managed modems, routers, firewalls, networking and broadband services
• CCNA/CCNP and any other Cisco certifications
• Advanced knowledge level of Networking and TCP/IP
• Working knowledge of VPN solutions (IPsec, DMVPN and MPLS)
• Good knowledge of routing BGP, OSPF and LAN, WAN, VLAN technologies
• Advantageous to have Palo Alto Certifications (PCNSA/PCNSE) or SD-WAN/SASE knowledge.
• Familiarity with Layer 1 technologies (UTP, Fiber
