We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safari Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal Consultant will have an in-depth knowledge of the African wildlife, ecosystems and safari destinations. They will be responsible for designing customized safari itineraries, providing expert advice to clients, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the travel experience.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, interests, and budget constraints to create personalized safari experiences.
Itinerary Design: Create detailed and comprehensive safari itineraries, including accommodations, transportation, activities and dining options, based on client requirements.
Destination Expertise: Be up to date with the latest information on safari destinations, wildlife sighting, conservation efforts and travel regulations to provide accurate and insightful recommendations.
Supplier Management: Liaise with safari lodges, tour operators and transportation providers to negotiate rates, secure bookings and ensure seamless logistics for clients.
Customer Support: Provide pre-trip and on-trip support to clients, including answering inquiries, resolving issues and coordinating emergency assistance if needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Safari Travel Consultant with an in depth understanding and knowledge of African safari destinations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, suppliers and team members.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple client itineraries simultaneously
Proficient in travel booking systems
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
