Overview
Under the guidance of the Director of Population Health, this role plays a crucial part in crafting, implementing, and maintaining training programs to support the professional development of clinical and non-clinical staff in Population Health (PH) and Disease Management. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about nurturing talent, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within our organization. **
Responsibilities**
Analyze training needs and develop comprehensive courses to equip staff with essential skills and knowledge. This includes creating engaging content, visual aids, exercises, and assessments.
Design and deliver synchronous training sessions on various clinical and operational topics, catering to both remote and onsite team members.
Collaborate Communications Specialist to produce educational content for beneficiaries participating in our programs.
Assist in maintaining training documentation, curriculum, and department-specific needs, while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.
Contribute to the development of training requirements aligned with organizational goals and participate in policy and procedure development.
Provide constructive feedback and support to employees and leadership, identifying performance and educational needs, and conducting follow-up training sessions as necessary.
Plan and facilitate formal and informal learning activities, including workshops and refresher courses, to promote professional growth.
Stay updated on industry trends and adult education methodologies to continually enhance training programs. **
Requirements**
Education & Experience:
Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the appropriate state.
Bachelor's degree in nursing, education, healthcare, or related field.
Minimum of three years' clinical experience with a Managed Care Organization (MCO) or healthcare system, focusing on clinical programs such as Population Health or Chronic Disease Management.
Minimum of two years' experience in training within corporate, healthcare, or academic settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and technology-enabled care management tools. **
Preferred**
Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, or related field.
Experience with accreditation bodies such as URAC or NCQA. **
