Administrative Assistant

  • Location:** Phoenix, AZ
  • Position Type:** Full-Time, 4 days in office, 1 day remote
  • Salary:** From $40,000 / year DOE

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. Our office serves as an independent source of impartial information concerning State and local governmental entities and provides specific recommendations to improve the operations of those entities. Our team is growing and we want you!

What You'll Do**

  • Draft correspondence, process divisional reports for styling, create charts and graphs, and complete edits.
  • Collaborate closely with the audit and administrative teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assist in organizing team events.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the division and Office.
  • Support recruiting, training, and retention programs.

What You'll Need

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Two to three years' previous administrative assistant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with Office professionals.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to properly prioritize workload and successfully manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Publisher); ability to learn Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Ability to produce high-quality, accurate work efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Minimum of 6 months working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and a willingness to expand/learn new skills quickly.
