You will have the rewarding responsibility of guiding and facilitating engaging online learning experiences for our students. Under the guidance of a Team Leader and with support from a Director of Education, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our learners. **
Key Responsibilities**
Delivering effective online course content with a focus on engagement and active learning.
Facilitating regular and collaborative learning experiences in a virtual environment.
Conducting synchronous learning sessions as needed to enhance student interaction and comprehension.
Identifying and addressing student learning challenges promptly, offering tailored support and assistance to ensure their success.
Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and grades, ensuring timely updates in the grade book.
Proactively reaching out to students who may not be fully engaged in the virtual classroom setting.
Monitoring the progress of at-risk students and developing personalized action plans to support their academic growth.
Ensuring accessibility and readiness of the virtual learning environment and eLearning content for optimal student experience.
Collaborating with Team Leaders and the Online Director of Education, participating in faculty development sessions, meetings, and other relevant activities.
Demonstrating effective presentation skills and utilizing engaging online instructional techniques to foster student learning.
Providing timely feedback and clarification to address student queries and enhance learning outcomes.
Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement.
Upholding academic integrity and enforcing compliance with institutional policies and regulations. **
Qualifications**
A minimum of four years of practical work experience in the relevant subject area(s) for faculty teaching in academic associate degree programs.
Possession of a related degree at least at the same level as the courses taught; a bachelor's degree in the field or a closely related area is preferred.
Relevant licensure or certification where applicable. **
Prior Experience In Post-secondary Education Online Teaching Is Required.**
