THE ROLE

As the Head of Sales for the Americas, you will drive revenue growth for all of our properties and build a sales engine that delivers amazing results and a world-class guest experience. You are a player coach, and will be responsible for the generation of sales and successful delivery in terms of service, revenue, costs, and management of our groups and events at our properties. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell and build business. Own the sales cycle end to end for group revenue business. You are a relentless and hungry results-oriented seller who drives strategy and business for Habitas. You do whatever it takes to build business from cold outreach to clients, prospecting, attendance on events and conferences, to creatively finding alternative solutions to create awareness about Habitas. 
  • Build and execute. At your core, you are a builder. You operate and lead the business reviews on sales performance, establish sales strategies and targets, while also executing them rigorously. Define and deliver quotas established for each properties and lead cross-functional business reviews to drive performance and strategy. you’re building and scaling an early stage business. You must have a high bias for action. You’ll have your fingerprints all over Habitas operations and do whatever it takes to get 1% better every day. This means going out and selling yourself, motivating a team, and building the playbook to take us to the next level. 
  • Serve the customer. You ensure the needs of the guests and groups are met, including site inspections, F&B, programming and experience, bookings and contracts, and logistics. 
  • Strategize and analyze. You build forecasts and budgets for the sales and events departments. You develop creative strategies to drive more revenue growth. You analyze performance and reports to understand where this is more opportunity. 
  • Lead and Collaborate. You are a natural leader, able to galvanize large cross-functional teams across marketing, finance, development, operations, and many more groups to achieve successful outcomes. You set the tone and are an extremely humble operator. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 7+ Years of experience in leading sales teams
  • University Degree
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and a strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong organizational ability and able manage stressful and high pressure situations
  • English language proficiency 
  • Natural leader with high energy and enthusiasm 
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. PMS.
