We are looking for a Registered Domiciliary Care Manager to join our team. All the details and requirements for the Domiciliary Care Manager position are below.
Domiciliary Care Manager Responsibilities:
* Determines staffing, financial, material, and other short- and long-term requirements.
* Plans work schedules, assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities to staff.
* Arranges for payment of bills, keeps accounts and adhere to health, safety, and other statutory requirements.
* Maintains contact between service users and the local community and/or family and friends.
* Assesses service users’ needs and ensures they have access to health and social care services as required.
* Creates a friendly, secure atmosphere to gain the trust and confidence of those using the service.
* Ensures that the physical comfort and all material needs of service users are provided and attempts to resolve problems that may arise.
Domiciliary Care Manager Skills / Experience:
* Ability to work closely with an established team to deliver bespoke, person-centred care packages within the community.
* Able to lead by example and be involved in both office management and hands-on care and support; as a team leader and oversee the delivery of a quality service.
* Ability to deliver local authority care packages to the elderly and adults with learning disabilities effectively, with the aim to grow the business and securing new, private and government contracts.
* Will be required to share the “on call” rota.
* Demonstration of proven background within a managerial capacity within a similar setting.
* Ability to be driven, professional and motivated and be able to manage own time successfully within a fast-paced setting, to inspire and drive the team to deliver the highest level of care possible.
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
Domiciliary Care Manager Qualifications:
Applicants must have minimum NVQ level 5 or equivalent or be working towards the qualification or be willing to do the qualification and must already have experience as a Domiciliary Care Manager
