We are looking to hire a Flutter developer to take a leadership role in the development of our
Android application. The role will require an enthusiastic and positive individual that is keen
to learn and capable of working well on their own as well as within a team.
You will work closely with a small team of multi-disciplined developers to build a new Flutter
application from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to get involved in a major project,
designed to help improve the lives of real people, and be a key player in shaping its direction
and development.
This is a full-time salaried position with flexible working arrangements and remote working.
Responsibilities
• You will lead the development of our Flutter Android application, making decisions on the
technology and design used in its implementation
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members through regular code review,
appraisals and informal discussion
• Assist in the implementation of our SDLC process
• Write clear, well documented and well tested code
• Aid in the delivery of outstanding UX that feels native to the Android platform
• Generate ideas for continuous improvement of the app and development processes
• Be involved in the process of interviewing and hiring additional team members
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience specialising in Flutter development
• Knowledge of debugging tools and best practices
• Good foundational knowledge of Android APIs
• Experience in UX design and accessibility
• Experience with interfacing to back end services
• Understanding of Play Store release process
• Experience in customer facing commercial applications
• Portfolio of developed applications to be provided
