Redstone Commodity Search are currently retained by the bunker trading team of a rapidly expanding oil group (35 trading hires in 3 years). As part of their global expansion strategy, our client is looking to hire 5+ experienced Back-to-Back Bunker Traders for remote roles globally. This presents a remarkable opportunity to join a dynamic, well financed team and contribute your skills from any location worldwide.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Conduct back-to-back bunker trades in any global niche that contributes remotely to our clients global footprint expansion.
  • Bring an established and transferable customer book of end user clients to the organization, nurture and expand existing relationships, and actively pursue new bunker inquiries.
  • Monitor global bunker market trends, pricing fluctuations, and developments, offering valuable insights and strategies for market penetration and expansion—all managed seamlessly and remotely.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with bunker trading activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and partners, to optimize bunker trading operations, guaranteeing smooth supply chain management while working remotely.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Possess 5 years or more of back-to-back bunker trading experience, with the flexibility to work remotely / in a home office set up.
  • Maintain a transferable book of back to back bunkering business.
  • Cultivate a robust network of transferable connections within the bunker fuels industry, encompassing both suppliers and customers in the marine fuels sector, nurturing and expanding these relationships remotely.
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in the fast-paced trading and shipping lifestyle, all while enjoying the advantages of remote work.
