JOB DESCRIPTION


Position Title: Marketing Director                                          
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: General Manager
Position Status: Full-time
Department: Sales & Marketing

This is a remote position.

Job Summary  

As Director of Marketing, you will drive revenue growth for our SaaS and services-based solutions by directing all online and traditional marketing initiatives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. A critical focus is building SEO/SEM programs and overseeing product content and marketing. Our Marketing Director is a results-driven performance marketer with a strong record of achieving high growth. This person focuses on the big picture, the details, and the aesthetics to support the customer value proposition (CVP) and maintains a strong, visible corporate presence at business and community events to promote the company's CVP.


Essential Functions: 

  • Work with the CEO to develop marketing strategies and tactics that support revenue goals.

  • Manage a team of marketing professionals

  • Create lead generation programs to grow target markets, with a heavy focus on developing inbound marketing through SEO/SEM

  • Manage product content production, which includes educational webinars, promotional videos, online training programs, expert content, and building a network of subject matter experts

  • Write marketing content

  • Develop event strategies, including webinars and tradeshows

  • Develop customer marketing programs

  • Manage the company website

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring consistent presentations & other materials used company-wide

  • Design, create and maintain customer-centric creative assets for print and digital advertising, including collateral materials including graphics, illustrations, brochures, fliers, specifications sheets, typography, signs, and trade show materials.

  • Support marketing corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with relevant legislation and regulation in day-to-day marketing activities.

  • Excellent writing skills, including original authorship of thought leadership content and marketing emails

  • Communicate effectively with peers and employees as a key member of the team

  • Lead internal cross-functional meetings by facilitating efficient discussions, eliciting updates, and tracking the deliverables.

  • Liaise with management, marketing, sales, and production team to ensure alignment of creative marketing to business priorities.

  • Identify and solve any obstacles to successful execution

  • Achieve the company’s revenue goals and objectives

  • Manage marketing to quantifiable quotas and metrics within the marketing budget

  • Follow company safety regulations and company policies; Performs other duties as assigned.

Secondary Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the company's products and services.

  • Develop cross-functional work plans for complex projects involving many groups, effectively implement and coordinate these plans; anticipate and effectively deal with problems and roadblocks.


COVID-19 considerations

For the indefinite future, we work remotely following state/federal guidelines and comply with the Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) post-COVID workplace safety practices.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or as scheduled by your manager.


Travel: <10% for this position.


 



Requirements


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully leading marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, within a SaaS environment.

  • Experience with marketing to associations is a plus.

  • Track record in delivering revenue results

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing objectives demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change, ability to prioritize and juggle to meet multiple, short deadlines consistently.

  • Experience managing internal and external teams

  • Working knowledge of CRMs, CMS, and Email marketing tools.

  • Superb organizational, written, and oral communication skills are required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
