Job description

This is a remote position.

HR Transformations is a Management Consulting firm with an active and growing change management practice. We currently have a roster of over 220 clients across a wide variety of industries from Financial Services to Manufacturing, CPG to Retail & Distribution and a team of 35+ talented Consultants. We employ fresh, flexible and pragmatic approaches that put our clients front and center. The success of our projects has been based on the caliber of our consultants, the uniquely integrated way we work and our robust best practice change management framework. We are rapidly growing our North American footprint within our ERP Change Management Services. As we look towards our future and consider our resourcing needs for anticipated engagements, we are interested in meeting experienced Communication Specialists to expand our network and build long-lasting relationships.


THE OPPORTUNITY

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for engaging employees through effective change management practices and employee communications to ensure achievement of the Digital / ERP implementation business goals, schedule and budget objectives. The role supports our client’s Sponsors, Leaders and our OCM team by developing and implementing communication strategies that build awareness and support across key stakeholder groups in order to successfully embed the necessary culture, process and technological change across the employee population.

Highlights of the role include:

  • Developing communication strategies that build awareness and support across key stakeholders
  • Using change management tactics to help shift mindset, behaviors and achieve results through communication and leadership messages
  • Creating strategic and tactical messaging and materials to support employees throughout the life cycle of the project or program
  • Ensuring all those who communicate on behalf of or about the project, including the Steering Committee, business leaders, and project team members, have appropriate information and comfort so they can share the right information, address issues and respond to queries about the change implementation
  • Recommend and enable technical communication platforms and tools to streamline information sharing and building of awareness and understanding consistently across the organization

YOU

You’re comfortable contracting with an established boutique firm and look forward to furthering your successful track record of delivering the results clients want. In addition, you:

  • Combine your educational background with at least 5 years of experience leading large training initiatives for ERP or complex technology implementations; you have a good understanding of IT and the terminology that goes along with technology implementations
  • Inform your communication work with a broader understanding of change management and engagement and prefer to work in an integrated approach to change management
  • Construct presentations and communications that balance creativity, practicality, and sensitivity to diverse audience needs
  • Have a proven track record of navigating the complexities of communication within organizations in a way that not only drives out clarity but builds relationships and delivers results
  • Are known for your compelling writing skills, ability to advise on how to use multiple communication channels as well as traditional and modern communication platforms and tools
