Position Overview

As a Sourcing & Production Executive, you play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and establishing partnerships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of quality materials for our brand's apparel and accessories lines. This position requires a strategic approach to supplier relationship management, negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of industry trends.

    Possess basic understanding & knowledge of general fashion ( Both Apparel & Non Apparel ) industry.
  • Able to recognise apparel categories, production methods and levels of efforts during production
  • Demonstrates good negotiation skills 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills to facilitate and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders
    Propose and implement guidelines & procedures to solve problems & test solutions with minimal guidance
  • A passion for fashion is a must

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Identification & Evaluation:

  • Plan and execute sourcing activities according to business needs, by recommending, sourcing and e-sourcing apparel and accessories suppliers, including & not limited to jewelry, bags, belt, nipple cover etc.
  • Perform supplier classification and data establishment

    Negotiation & Contract Management:
  • Responsible for the onboarding process, ensuring all proposed suppliers meet the needs of the business.
  • Review supplier audits and conduct ad hoc on-ground inspections to ensure sustainability and ethical compliance standards are met.
  • Proceed the contract signing and discuss with HQ about non-conformities.

    Cost Analysis & Budgeting:
  • Map out suppliers and cost analysis in accordance with the sourcing strategy.

    Cross teams Collaboration:
  • Set up sourcing calendar with timelines based on targeted launch, supplemented with active tracking and milestones check-in with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the HQ Sourcing and Production Team to build long-term vendor partnerships, cultivating the brand’s vendor relationships worldwide
  • Cooperate with relevant departments to track the early cooperation with new suppliers, including product selection, cost structure, and delivery tracking
  • Achieve sourcing objectives at an efficient level, imparting knowledge to cross-functional
  • Communicate closely with relevant department to ensure seamless supply chain operations

    Market Research & Trend Analysis
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging materials to make informed sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with design and product development teams to align sourcing strategies with brand aesthetics and market demands.

    Risk management
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks in the supply chain, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Review supplier audits and conduct ad hoc on-ground inspections to ensure sustainability and ethical compliance standards are met.
  • Proceed the contract signing and discuss with HQ about non-conformities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimally a Diploma in Fashion Apparel or relevant textile/clothing experience acquired in manufacturing
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in the apparel industry, other experience in softline manufacturing will also be considered.
  • Key Competencies include: Strategic Thinking, Negotiation Skills, Analytical Aptitude, Collaboration and Teamwork, Time Management and Prioritization, Ethical Sourcing Awareness, Supplier Relationship Management, General Manufacturing End to End Process Understanding
  • Excellent organisational and follow-up skills as well as the ability to work independently
  • Good command of written English and Mandarin Chinese & Basic spoken English is necessary.
