To join us for a summer internship! This position will support our program in Chelan County, Washington which brings free energy audits and efficiency upgrades to low-income households with high energy burdens.

Candidates for consideration must be based in or near Chelan County, Washington.

What we need help with…

• Support program outreach to eligible customers through phone, emails, door knocking, community events, etc.
• Support program administrative tasks such as reporting, data management, scheduling audits and inspections, etc.
• Support participating contractors by providing any program information requested, support quality assurance of installations, organize any training or event logistics, coordinate installations with participating customers, etc.

Exciting candidates have…

• Great customer service skills
• Spanish-speaking preferred
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for any territory travel needed for outreach purposes (gas is compensated)
• Ability to work remotely and independently while also maintain strong communication with colleagues and supervisor
• Active enrollment and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2024, Environmental Sciences field of study a plus
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (early June through early August) with the potential to extend the internship up to 4-weeks
• Adequate Wi-Fi
• Experience using Microsoft Office products
• An affinity to participate in the transition to a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral energy-efficient for our communities and planet

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
