ABOUT THE POSITION

Linxup is searching for an IT Manager to join our team in a new role dedicated to overseeing all aspects of our corporate technology services and equipment. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for empowering our team members with the software and hardware tools necessary to achieve our company's mission and goals. You should be highly motivated and comfortable working at multiple levels, from big-picture tasks like setting strategy and budget, to more concrete tasks like troubleshooting a team member's technology issue or shipping replacement equipment.                                             

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, recommend, and implement technology strategies and solutions across the entire organization
  • Develop and enforce technology policies and procedures
  • Oversee and collaborate with our IT managed service provider (MSP) that provides frontline remote IT support and monitoring, ensuring quality standards and operational excellence
  • In partnership with the MSP, manage the deployment, monitoring, security, patching, upgrading, and support of all IT systems, including providing hands-on or remote technology support as needed
  • Coordinate with human resources on employee onboarding/offboarding, including accounts, equipment, and data retention
  • Manage IT budget and fixed asset inventory
  • Implement asset management program, including purchasing, tracking, replacement, and disposal
  • Implement and exercise procedures for backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  • Manage and optimize the organization's technology applications
  • Collaborate with application-specific administrators across multiple departments, providing assistance as needed and ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Proven working experience as an IT manager
  • Strong expertise with configuring and troubleshooting both Windows and MacOS workstations
  • Hands-on experience with network administration and management
  • Strong experience with Google Workspace applications and administration
  • Familiarity with implementing and using asset management systems
  • Willingness, enthusiasm and aptitude to learn new technologies and skills
  • Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices
  • Detail-oriented

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Monday through Friday

  • This position is located on-site in our Chesterfield, MO headquarters with part-time work-from-home opportunities
