Ochsner Health in New Orleans is currently searching for a BC/BE Nephrologist, with fellowship training or practice experience in Transplant Nephrology for a Medical Director of Kidney Transplantation. The starting salary will be commensurate based upon training and experience.

The Department of Nephrology has excellent fellowship programs, many active research projects, one of the largest kidney transplant programs in the country. The Department of Nephrology has an excellent regional referral base.

The successful applicant will be leading a cohesive and experienced team of 3 Nephrologists and 8 surgeons who are supported by Nephrology fellows, Surgical fellows and Advanced Practice Providers.

Ochsner has been one of the top programs in the Nation for Kidney transplants. Ochsner remains one of the nation's most active transplant programs conducting 219 Kidney transplants in 2019. Our center has an established record in Donation after cardiac death (DCD) transplants and has an active living donor program in adults.
