Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM Valley Stream, NY time
  • Includes 1 hour unpaid break

Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate seamless scheduling between dental offices and our mobile anesthesiology team, ensuring optimal efficiency and patient care
  • Guide patients through their care journey, from initial registration to post-procedure follow-ups, providing a comforting and informative experience
  • Master our cutting-edge SmartSuite data management system, becoming the go-to expert for information management and retrieval
  • Facilitate clear, timely communication between office managers, doctors, and our anesthesiology team using WhatsApp and RingCentral
  • Contribute to our growth by assisting in new client acquisition and nurturing existing relationships
  • Help shape and grow our social media presence, crafting engaging content that showcases our unique services
  • Provide crucial support to both our Office and Patient Coordinators, adapting to daily needs and challenges with flexibility and enthusiasm
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Medical Admin Assistant or similar role, preferably under a dental practice company
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for building rapport quickly
  • Tech-savvy individual comfortable with learning and mastering new software systems (experience with healthcare management systems a plus)
  • Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, multitasking environments
  • Background in customer service or healthcare administration preferred, but not required for the right candidate
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality practices, or willingness to learn quickly
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a remote team
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adaptability to new processes and technologies
  • Ability to occasionally adjust working hours to accommodate urgent patient or practice needs
