OCHSNER HEALTH BATON ROUGE – DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOLOGY

Cardiologist will be housed in Baton Region and will work closely with the advanced heart failure team at Ochsner Medical Center- New Orleans to support regional heart failure initiatives and programs.

The Department of Cardiology and the John Ochsner Heart & Vascular Institute are searching for:

1 BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist (Heart Failure Interest Preferred) at Ochsner Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA

  • We are searching for an experienced Non-Invasive Cardiology physician (preferred Heart Failure Interest)
  • Successful candidates will have focused CHF responsibilities at our Baton Rouge Campus and Hospital.
  • Ochsner Baton Rouge has a multispecialty physician group of more than 150 physicians (www.ochsner.org) with a 201-bed hospital, and an $80M new outpatient center at the Ochsner Medical Center of Baton Rouge.

Department & Facility Highlights:

  • The Ochsner Baton Rouge Cardiology group  (4 Non-Invasive, 4 Interventional, and 2 EP) is part of and supported by the larger system-wide Department of Cardiology that includes 71 Board certified cardiologists practicing at eight locations throughout Southeastern Louisiana. In New Orleans we offer the state’s only LVAD and Heart Transplant program.
  • The Baton Rouge cardiology group offers a full-service cardiovascular practice including all phases of state of the art cardiovascular disease management including advanced imaging, interventional and structural skills, EP and open heart surgery. 
  • Baton Rouge, the home of Louisiana State University, the state capital, with a population of 774,000 and is a vibrant Southeastern Conference (SEC) city, located less than an hour west of New Orleans.
