Title: Federal Civilian Account Executive

Territory: Beltway (Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland)

As the Federal Civilian Account Executive on the Federal team your primary focus is aimed at closing larger strategic business to Federal civilian agencies while maintaining sustained transactional sales growth with a robust pipeline of new opportunities. Collaborating with the entire partner ecosystem to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions is critical.  

The Federal Civilian Account Executive role is an executive sales position responsible for the sale of NICE solutions to support the operational needs of Federal Civilian agencies. 

Success in the Role:  

  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement 
  • Ability to travel 25% +- 
  • 5+ years’ experience in related software sales 
  • Strong knowledge of the federal community with relationships and the ability to engage at the senior leadership levels. 
  • Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and execute on small and large-scale enterprise-wide business opportunities 
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to participate effectively in cross-functional teams and work well in a matrixed management environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills – Dynamic presenter with the ability to convey information to all levels including CXO levels 
  • Self-starter, with the ability to manage and report on simultaneous partner engagements 
  • US-wide responsibility for selling NICE solutions, products, and services to assigned Federal civilian accounts 
  • Understanding the assigned accounts’ extended business model and create offerings and solutions to meet corporate goals 
  • Must be able to sell complete NICE solution portfolio within an account and establish NICE as a trusted and strategic partner to the system integrators. 
  • Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of partners within the same accounts 
  • Must exhibit general management style of sale while running a coordinated campaign within all entities of NICE 
  • Experience selling cooperatively with Partners and System Integrators 
  • Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel driven model 
  • Experience leading a team of professionals in sales campaigns that include Sales Executives, Field SE’s, Inside Sales, Field Marketing, Professional Services, etc. 
  • Must have experience in selling in or around enterprise applications / solutions 
  • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment

For this role: 

  • You will have a minimum of 5 years sales experience working in the Federal space 
  • You have a proven track record of success in a sales role 
  • You thrive on successfully selling software deals either directly or through partner 
  • You’re eager to deliver impact for your customers 
  • You have experience of providing accurate forecast and, meticulously manage your pipeline and CRM records 
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in excel and PowerPoint 
  • You demonstrate success working in a team with little to no direct daily supervision in a home office setting. 
  • Previous experience of Contact Centre or Digital CX or CRM is preferable (but not a must). 
  • Previous experience with SFDC and CPQ is preferable (but not a must).
