Your missions

Description

As an AWS Cloud Sales Director at our services company, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling cloud services and solutions based on Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as upselling and cross-selling Commit’s array of tech services. You will engage with prospects and clients, understand their business needs, and effectively communicate how Commit can address their challenges and help them achieve their goals. This role requires a strong sales background, technical knowledge of AWS, and the ability to build relationships with clients and partners.

This role will require you to own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to opportunity to closure and account expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and growing the adoption of cloud.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Identify and qualify leads, engage with prospects and clients, and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  2. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospects and client organizations. Understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements, and position AWS cloud services and solutions as the best-fit solution.
  3. Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative sales approach to understand clients' needs deeply and recommend appropriate Commit solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that showcase the value of Commit services.
  4. Solution Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits, features, and capabilities of Commit services. Articulate how these services can address clients' specific business challenges, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.
  5. Proposal Development: Work closely with internal teams, including solution architects and project managers, to ensure the proposals align with clients' requirements and are delivered in a timely manner.
  6. Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their trusted advisor for tech services. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand the scope of services provided.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including technical and delivery teams, to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation. Provide guidance and support during the client onboarding process to ensure clients' expectations are met or exceeded. Collaborate closely with AWS to ensure strong relationships


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record of success in cloud sales, preferably with experience selling AWS cloud services or similar cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services, solutions, and architectures, with the ability to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Strong sales acumen and a consultative selling approach, with the ability to understand clients' needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and handle objections effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating trustworthiness, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Located in the Southeast of the US or Central time zone.
