Need this for: Integration Test:
To verify that the interfaces have been built and configured correctly and data can pass between Panda and RELEX systems in both directions.
Inbound (to RELEX)
• Panda team creates sample files for each interface and pass to RELEX.
o Panda team conducts their own testing and validation of these files before passing them to RELEX.
• RELEX completes a Static Review of the sample files provided and give feedback to Panda.
• Panda team creates bulk files and pass to RELEX.
• RELEX imports the files to the RELEX DB and conducts more validation on the files and content.
• Once agreed, Panda begins to send the files daily. A final set of checks are completed on the daily files.
Outbound (from RELEX)
• RELEX creates the outbound files and conducts a series of basic checks before passing them to Panda.
• Panda confirms the files can be consumed by their system.
• Panda should also consider any extended integrations beyond the RELEX/Panda interface.
• Note that at this stage, these checks are for format only as the data content will not be representative until later in the Project.
Test Material:
• A Test Plan is created which defines the test scope and approach.
• A standard set of Test Scripts are used. These will be tailored for this project by the Technical Consultants.
• The Test Results and Defects Summary are captured in a Test Summary Report.
During the Integration Test, the Nightly Run will be set up with the aim of running it from end to end each night using fresh production files.
The Test Results and Defects Summary are added to the Test Summary Report to build a complete picture of the testing across the project
