Job description

Role: AWS Platform Architect
Duration: 6 months + (long term, or potential to go convert perm)
Location: open to remote, but prefers Local to Miami

Notes from the call:
Must have AWS Solutions Architect certification
Must have at least 3 years of highly technical Terraform experience
Kubernetes Roadmap
AWS cloud services such as Identity & Access Management and Security
Infrastructure as Code and Security as Code (Terraform, cloudformation) projects
Blue green deployments at scale


RCG Global eCommerce Team is looking for an AWS Platform Architect who has worked with Cloud Engineers in an agile scrum set-up in the following areas.
  • Expert Cloud Engineer & AWS Platform Architect with 12 years of experience in IT industry comprising of DevOps, SRE, Solutions Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge and Hands-on experience using AWS cloud services such as Identity & Access Management, Compute, Network, Storage, Database, Serverless.
  • Have successfully delivered orchestration & runtime projects ranging from Serverless to EKS(Elastic Kubernetes Service) multi-cluster canary blue green deployments at scale(managed hundreds of PODs based on business functions ).
  • Have successfully delivered cloud automation & pipelines projects based on Infrastructure as Code and Security as Code (Terraform , cloudformation)
  • Strong experience designing and deploying highly available, resilient, cost-effective, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on AWS.
  • Knowledge of recommended best practices & cloud governance in building enterprise-wide scalable, secure, self-healing and reliable applications on AWS.
by leveraging AWS Cloud SDKs, CloudFormation, Terraform, Python and bash to rapidly provision cloud environments.
  • Excellent skills in coordinating work with 10+ product scrum PODS
