Job Description:

Defines the Data Vision based on Business Requirements, translate it to Technology Requirements, and define Data Standards and Principles in an event driven, API based near real-time data integration landscape on AWS.

Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements. Assist and verify the design of solution and production of all design phase deliverables. Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to ETL architecture. Resolve difficult design and development issues.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work closely with teams to collect and translate information requirements into data to develop data-centric solutions
Ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards are integrated and followed for modeling, stored procedures, replication, regulations, and security, among other concepts, to meet technical and business goals
Govern all the data & analytics tool bake-off, assessments, build vs buy analysis, recommendations and influences the decisions with evidence.
Define the best practices for IaaS vs PaaS vs SaaS based integration architectures for an optimally performing architecture and ensure the enterprise standards are followed across the project.
Help enable Data Quality, Governance & Master Data Management solutions
Validate the golden record architecture, design, process for multiple domains (customer, product, store etc.)
Review & Approve data mart designs & models to deliver operational metrics
Enable data lake design for discovery, analysis and running machine learning algorithms
Continuously improve the quality, consistency, accessibility, and security of our data activity across company needs
Design and implement effective database solutions and models for further downstream consumption for reporting and Data Science Platform.
Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
Write, maintain architecture and detailed design specifications and responsible for key architecture decisions.
Perform an active, leading role in shaping and enhancing overall ETL Informatica architecture, including ETL standards, patterns and best practices.
Support ETL developers by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions.
Identified Golden Record for Customer and Product data by analyzing duplicate records coming from different source systems.
Works with business partners, product development teams and senior designers to capture requirements, determine a solution that will integrate with existing BI assets, review prototypes and develop iterative revisions

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field.
Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
Experience working with and creating data architecture
Working Experience with AWS Environment, AWS DW Architecture (S3, RedShift)
Working Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Crawler, Athena, using Informatica as ETL tool for data integration and processing with AWS
Working Experience with Data Warehouse Technologies, any MDM & Data Governance tool, SQL, Informatica / MuleSoft, AWS Architecture (S3, DynamoDB, RedShift etc.) and Business Intelligence driven Architecture, Design & development.
Nice to have skills: Lamda/python, Spark/databricks
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities & Outstanding problem solver
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and IT project team members to define, design, and execute activities related to data Architecture
Current with trends in data management technologies as they relate to quality, stewardship, and cleansing
Lead and guide an Informatica based ETL architecture to handle complex business rules while balancing the fulfillment of stringent performance requirements.
Strong oral written and interpersonal skills for interacting and throughout all levels of the organization.
Bachelor's degree, 7-10 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 360 Architecture for Customer, Product and Restaurant.
Experience working with Customer Golden Record Architecture, either developed inhouse or using any third-party tool to build the logic and data architecture.
Data Visualization & Data Migration Skills
Significant experience with Data Architecture in Cloud Based Environment (AWS experience is plus)
Experience working with Database Management System Software
Significant experience with SQL and database technologies
Working knowledge of data modeling, data mining & Data warehouse Techniques
Working knowledge of report requirements gathering, data analysis, mapping, integration and workflow techniques for BI projects
Experience in Modelling & Business System design
Hands on Experience in Informatica ETL Development
Must have proven experience with Database Schema Techniques
Proven track record as an ETL Architect, leading development teams to deliver successful business intelligence solutions with complex data sources
