Job Title: Data Tester (ETL)
Location: Remote OR Ft Lauderdale, FL (2 days onsite)

This is going to be a title like ETL tester. This is a pure Data Tester role. This can be remote but if the candidate will go Hybrid in Fort Lauderdale, FL it is a GUARANTEED interview.
  • SQL important but not as SQL focused for this role
  • Experience working in Snowflake
  • Experience in data testing at multiple levels of data transfer
  • "how do you test data replication?”

Overview of Position
The QA working lead will be spear heading all QA efforts in testing and validating a IT Projects. The candidate will lead a large group of QA professionals embedded within different workstreams. The person in this position will be responsible for the overall QA strategy, test approach, hands-on testing, as well as communicating testing progress to stakeholders. This position will require strong collaboration with multiple teams (Developers, Business Analysts, DBAs, and project managers) besides interacting with 3rd party clients.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead QA engagement to provide blueprint for the QA strategy.
  • Coach teams in implementing best-in-class test techniques.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and work with the QA teams to continuously improve process and standards.
  • Provide QA strategy and unify QA process based on best practices and industry standards.
  • Organize and lead the efforts of cross functional teams through structured testing and test architecture besides interacting with 3rd party clients.
  • Candidate will be responsible to communicate status to senior leadership and key stakeholders on project.
  • The candidate will be involved hands-on in the testing activities and must have demonstrated good business analytical skills in understanding business objectives of the application.
  • Candidate must have the ability to develop a strong business understanding of IT Customer Experience projects.
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA support and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
  • Coordinate between development and business teams to identify issues/gaps and keep the team updated with latest requirements.
  • Experience in leading / participating triage meetings.
  • Experience is identifying functional, integration and data discrepancies.
Technical Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in Functional, Integration, regression, and system testing process and strategy
  • 5+ years of experience in leading medium/large team sizes
  • Proven record of driving QA strategy and unification of QA process across teams.
  • Strong understanding of various QA tools and technologies
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and domain knowledge in a timely manner
  • Has a strong working knowledge of the testing process and tools and the design of test scenarios and test scripts, including an understanding of various software quality practices.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of application development methods as well as the fundamentals of requirement specification, design, development/configuration, and testing of business applications systems.
  • Has seasoned experience in executing test cases and comparing results to requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives.
  • Has expertise in automation and performance testing.
  • Proficient knowledge in testing tools.
  • Strong experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages.
  • Strong experience with one or more relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge with one or more automation libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more source control tools.
  • Strong knowledge in doing analysis on APM tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of performance tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, APMs etc.

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presenting to large audience.
  • Inquisitive and ambitious with the ability to work through changes in a fluid environment
