The Superb Opportunity:

We are looking for a remote Kotlin Multiplatform Product Engineer to join our team and play a key role in shaping our mobile products for restaurateurs. In this role, you will work on delivering seamless experiences across multiple platforms using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), ensuring high performance and maintainability. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers, understand their pain points, and craft intuitive solutions that elevate their guest experience. As a product engineer, you will contribute to a lightweight, high-quality software delivery process with a focus on building valuable products for restaurants.

Our core Tech Team consists of skilled Product Engineers covering web, mobile, and infrastructure development. As a Kotlin Multiplatform Product Engineer, you will work in a fully remote and globally diverse team, collaborating from Denmark, Portugal, Poland, South Africa, Spain, and Brazil.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain world-class mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to create seamless cross-platform experiences.

• Contribute to the entire product lifecycle: from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Work closely with the team to deliver a seamless and consistent mobile experience across platforms.

• Optimize performance, maintainability, and scalability of our mobile applications across iOS and Android.

• Drive innovation by exploring and implementing best practices in mobile development and Kotlin Multiplatform.

• Continuously improve our development tools and workflows, ensuring a stimulating, efficient, and productive work environment.

What You’ll Need:

• Solid experience in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), including Kotlin/Native and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).

• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS development, with hands-on experience in Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI.

• Proficiency in writing clean, modular, and testable code.

• Experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and dependency injection frameworks.

• Previous experience working with development tools and concepts such as Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile performance optimization.

• Comfortable working in an agile, startup environment where adaptability and ownership are key.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Live in Europe or +/- 2 hours.

You’ll stand out if you:

• Have experience with backend development in Kotlin.

• Have worked with Compose Multiplatform.

• Have Tech Lead experience (or similar)

• Are passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and continuously improving mobile application architecture.
