Your missions

Description

PCG is looking for an EpicCare Ambulatory EMR Specialist responsible for ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the EpicCare Ambulatory Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This includes working with end-users to understand their workflow and system requirements, configuring and customizing the system to meet those needs, and providing training and support to end-users. The specialist will also work closely with other IT and clinical staff to troubleshoot issues and ensure the system is running efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and configure the EpicCare Ambulatory EMR system to meet those needs 
  • Perform system testing, training, and support to ensure the system is running efficiently and meeting user needs 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the EpicCare Ambulatory EMR system 
  • Work with IT and clinical staff to ensure the system is integrated with other clinical systems and workflows 
  • Participate in system upgrades and new feature releases, testing and validating new functionality 
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including workflow diagrams, training materials, and standard operating procedures 
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed 
Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, information technology, or a related field 
  • EpicCare Ambulatory EMR certification 
  • At least 3 years of experience configuring and supporting EpicCare Ambulatory EMR systems in a healthcare environment 
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical operations 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical staff 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with other Epic modules, such as EpicCare Inpatient or EpicCare MyChart 
  • Familiarity with clinical terminologies and coding standards, such as ICD-10, CPT, and SNOMED CT 
  • Project management experience, including managing projects through the entire lifecycle from planning to execution and monitoring.
