PowerFlex Solutions Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Engineer with PowerFlex certification and deployment expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing and implementing PowerFlex solutions to meet our organization's infrastructure needs. This position requires in-depth knowledge of PowerFlex technologies and the ability to architect and deploy solutions effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design:

   • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and infrastructure needs.
   • Design PowerFlex solutions based on business requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
   • Develop comprehensive solution architectures and design documentation.

2. Implementation and Deployment:

   • Lead the deployment and configuration of PowerFlex infrastructure.
   • Install, configure, and optimize PowerFlex systems to meet performance, scalability, and availability requirements.
   • Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities as needed.

3. Integration and Interoperability:

   • Ensure seamless integration of PowerFlex solutions with existing infrastructure components.
   • Design and implement integrations with other infrastructure technologies and platforms.

4. Testing and Validation:

   • Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of PowerFlex solutions.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing and validation phases.

5. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:

   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PowerFlex configurations, deployments, and best practices.
   • Provide training and knowledge transfer to other team members on PowerFlex technologies and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• PowerFlex certification (e.g., Dell EMC PowerFlex Associate or Professional).
• Proven experience as a Solution Engineer or Systems Engineer, with expertise in PowerFlex technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PowerFlex deployment and configuration.
• Strong understanding of storage and hyperconverged infrastructure concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
