The Role:



The Data Manager develops and maintains the DM system.  Their primary responsibilities will be to support engineering and project teams at large in order to control the creation of datapaks and submittal process of data items to our customers, in addition to actively participating in planning, status accounting, and audit of DM principles. Additionally, the Data Manager will be required to facilitate data transfer from subcontractors to the end item customer,

Essential Functions:

•      Develop and modify Data Management processes and procedures and ensure that they are followed on all projects

•      Administer DM tools used to store, track and manage data (CDRL/SDRL) items

•      Support performing audits to ensure adherence to DM processes and procedures

•      Assist in training data management system users

•      Participate in Continuous Improvement activities

•      Actively participate in internal and customer audits




Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

•      A Secret clearance, or ability to rapid be qualified, is desired.

•      CM Certification (CMPIC) is desired.

•      Experience in Data Management and interfacing with customer driven submittals.

•      Expert use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools such as Costpoint.

Preferred Additional Skills:

•       CMPIC certification

•       Working knowledge of CMMi

•       Costpoint ERP

•       SharePoint

•       Microsoft Office
