Job description

This is a remote position.

Designed.co is a software-enabled graphic design subscription built for leading brands of the future. We leverage technology to bridge the gap between amazing US-based designers and leading brands. The result is quality design without the cost and complexity. Our unique business model has disrupted the traditional graphic design agency and has helped us achieve tremendous growth. As a part of our growth, we are on the hunt for our a wittty, multidisciplinary, Sr. Staff Writer.

This role goes beyond traditional writing roles to help us expand our creative writing services for our clients, as well as focusing on the growth of our thought-leadership initiatives, and internal creative writing needs including;

- Blog and article writing

- Copywriting for ads and other creative design assets

- Press releases and public relations

- Scriptwriting for video-based publications

- Website copy development

In addition to writing, we prefer a candidate that has experience with content marketing & distribution. We prefer candidates that have well-rounded experience working in an agency environment, as well as freelancers. Any knowledge or experience with public relations, graphic design or creative agencies is a huge plus, but not required (we are not looking for a graphic designer just someone with some understanding of the industry).

Requirements

We will start at around 20 hours per week, but with the right person, it will quickly transition into a full-time position, so please only apply if you can work full-time.
