Job description

This is a remote position.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Bring knowledge of hands-on experience of implementation of standards and methods using the AWS suite of integration technologies.

- Support the integrations using ASW Lambda APIs

- Deliver secure by design, easy to monitor, maintain and easy to diagnose assets that can be used reliably and predictably.

- Keep the assets updated in keeping with the advances in underlying technologies.

- Drive the creation of patterns, standards and documentation to align the development and test teams to productive and efficient ways of working.

- Be responsible for ongoing improvements in productivity by leveraging commonly understood patterns

- Contribute and adhere to guidance and standards for exception management and error handling frameworks to deliver a good user experience.

- To act as a positive role model to colleagues, partners and customers.





Requirements


Technical Expertise

- Experience with the core AWS services, plus the specifics mentioned in this job description. • Good background in AWS administration.

- Angular 2+ (HTML5, SS3, SCSS, CSS Architecture, Atomic design, JavaScript ES6, Monorepo Nrwl Nx, Storybook, Jamstack, NGRX, Cypress, Jest, Karma, Jasmine)

- Knowledge in API Gateway, Amazon Athena, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, AWS CLI, python, typescript.

- Build solutions using AWS Cloud Native patterns

- Strong notions of security best practices (e.g using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.). • Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch

- Experience in CMS Integrations, Test driven deployment, REST GraphQL, AWS Glue ETL, Amazon Redshift


Good To Have

- Github Actions Pipeline CI / CD

- Working Knowledge of AWS Lambda, Cloudformation, Cloudwatch, EventBridge, SQS and Stepfunction

- Experience with IAM / Roles / Polices

- Working Knowledge of AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM)

- Practical experience with Triggers eg. Kinesis / s3 etc.

- Working experience with S3 / AWS Lambda Connections Triggers

- Languages: Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Typescript.

- Knowledge of Kafka is a plus

- Frameworks: React, Node.js, Flask, Django-rest-Framework, Mocha, Chai, Sinon
