Rural Internet in the USA is still a problem! 

There are over 10,000 RV Parks in the USA! Not to mention travel centers, campgrounds, and just about anywhere you travel and still need reliable internet.  

The issue with Wi-Fi Networks at RV Parks (free Wi-Fi or not), is the RVs themselves that interfere with the signal! Most Wi-Fi providers do not want you to know this, but the wireless frequencies that Wi-Fi uses cannot go through the metal RVs are made of. 

In fact, most Wi-Fi signals cannot even go through the glass most RVs use.  

What happens is this: When Wi-Fi is broadcast, the signal “bounce” everywhere. Wi-Fi signals will bounce off thick rock, metal, and even certain kinds of plastic.  

The Wi-Fi signal will bounce and “squeeze” through certain parts of the RV, like through the plastic the RV top vents use, or the front windshield. This is how the Wi-Fi signal gets inside the RV to the guest’s computer or phone. 

The signal will bounce around inside of your guest's RV until it finds a small place to get out. From that point, the signal heads back to the nearest Wi-Fi access point. 

If this sounds complicated and riddled with issues, that’s because it is…..and……that’s exactly why, regardless of how much you spend on a Wi-Fi System for your RV Park, there will always be unhappy guests because their internet does not work correctly in their RV (the internet will be slow, drops them entirely, or stops working altogether). 

If this sounds all too familiar, that’s because all RV Wi-Fi Systems end up having the same issues. 

The issues are a byproduct of physics: The frequency Wi-Fi uses and the metal the RV is made of.
