Key responsabilities:

  • Expertise in SQL queries to retrieve and validate data from multiple sources, including snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
  • Experience in QA validation for analytical tools, building new SQL queries for new DB tables, and verifying data transformation between systems as per business requirements.
  • Validate data in core base tables to created views, ensure no loss of data, maintain regression scripts, collaborate with Data Engineering on impact analysis due to ETL code changes.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and comfortable dialogue and collaboration with resources, competent in verbal and written communication, possess retail domain experience.

Job description

This is a remote position.

Role: Data Test Lead

Education Qualification:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:6-10 years

Work Mode: Remote
 

Responsibilities:

· Expertise in SQL queries to retrieve and validate the data from multiple sources.

·  Experience in snowflake or other cloud data platforms –
·   Experience in Analytical tools QA validation - Experience in building new SQL queries according to new DB tables.
·  Experience validating that data is transforming correctly between systems according to business requirements.
·  Validating data in core base tables to the views created to ensure all data is accommodated and no loss of data.
·  Creating and Maintaining Regression Scripts.
· Working with DE to understand requirements, create an associated test plan, and test cases.
· Should be comfortable to dialogue and collaborate with Data Engineering DEV resources on impact analysis as a result of ETL code change in one section impacting some other functionality.
·  Good Verbal and Written communication skills.
·  Retail domain experience.
