We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in GCP to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in GCP services such as Google Cloud Function, Cloud Run, Workflows, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, Golang/Python/Java, SQL, and Google APIs. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data pipelines and workflows on GCP to support business intelligence and data analysis needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable data pipelines and workflows on GCP using Google Cloud Function, Cloud Run, Workflows, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, Golang, SQL, and Google APIs.
  • Develop and maintain data processing scripts and tools using programming languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.
  • Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to understand their data requirements and design appropriate data solutions on GCP.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency by implementing data validation and verification mechanisms.
  • Monitor data pipelines and workflows for performance, reliability, and availability and take necessary actions to address any issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and data processing scripts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest GCP technologies and trends and propose new data solutions to improve our data infrastructure.


Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with GCP services such as Google Cloud Function, Cloud Run, Workflows, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, Golang, SQL, and Google APIs.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Golang, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL, and data integration techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Looker is a plus.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Google Cloud certification in Data Engineer or related field is a plus.
