Job description

This is a remote position.

Workday Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the role of Workday Lead. In this position, you will be at the forefront of our HR and Payroll operations, utilizing your extensive technology experience to drive excellence in enterprise architecture, project management, systems design, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the complexities of HR Operations technology and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your extensive technology background to manage enterprise architecture, systems requirements, project/program management, systems design/delivery, quality assurance, and infrastructure.
  • Flourish in a diverse, fast-paced, global environment, adapting to challenges and fostering innovation.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Workday, particularly in HCM and other core areas. Configuration certification is preferred.
  • Oversee the management of HR SaaS solutions and display familiarity with various Human Resources applications support models, including outsourcing.
  • Lead HR Operations enabling technology projects, leveraging hands-on experience for process optimization through automation deployment.
  • Apply deep knowledge of HR systems to provide configuration and process optimization recommendations.
  • Design and implement HR business processes within the Workday platform.
  • Maintain an understanding of global data privacy laws, regulations, and standard policies.
  • Exhibit a demonstrated ability in decision-making, business judgment, and delivering measurable results.
  • Utilize strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Apply quality tools and metrics to resolve issues and drive tangible business results.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of best practices, the latest trends, and benchmark data within the HR Operations technology space.
  • Use analytical data and insights to measure system and process performance, supporting decision-making, developing action plans, and executing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Engage confidently with stakeholders through written communication, verbal discussions, emails, and presentations.
  • Bring process design and reengineering experience to enhance HR Operations efficiency.
  • Desired experience includes familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD and Telephony systems.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, project/program management, system design/delivery, quality assurance, and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Workday, particularly in HCM and other core areas. Configuration certification preferred.
  • Experience managing HR SaaS solutions and familiarity with various HR applications support models.
  • Hands-on involvement in HR Operations technology projects and process optimization through automation.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems for configuration and process optimization recommendations.
  • Ability to design and implement HR business processes using Workday.
  • Knowledge of global data privacy laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Strong decision-making skills, business judgment, and a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing quality tools and metrics for issue resolution and performance enhancement.
  • Familiarity with best practices, current trends, and benchmark data in the HR Operations technology space.
