DescriptionThe US Accounts Payable Manager will serve as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team and play an essential oversight role over Norstella’s procure-to-pay process. This role will work together with the International AP Team and Controllership Team as well as collaborate with other departments as it relates to their job function. This position will report to the US Controller. Specific Responsibilities - Manage and implement process improvements related, but not limited to: - Supplier Onboarding - Supplier Payments - PO and Invoice Workflows - Report on AP related KPI metrics - Manage, develop, and train Accounts Payable Staff - Create and maintain cash forecasts as they relate to AP related cash disbursements - Perform and maintain monthly reconciliations of payables accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy - Assist the Controllership Team with monthly accounts payable accruals - Assist with full-cycle accounts payable, including collaborating with suppliers and internal business partners to resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies - Enforcement of all internal controls related to the payables process including records retention policies and procedures

Requirements - Five years accounts payable experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, but not required
  • Must possess knowledge of accrual accounting and basic accounting principles
  • Experience with high volume invoicing and PO processing utilizing a large ERP system
  • Experience in Coupa (business application system) is a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite (business application system) is a plus
  • Experience with Kyriba (business application system) is a plus

  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to multi- task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Accurate, organized and detail oriented with exceptional follow up skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems

  • Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $105,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
