As a Director Business Enterprise Architecture , you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Enterprise Architecture and Data (EAD) team reporting to the Senior Director - Enterprise Architecture, you will support projects including leading the charge to define and establish enterprise business architecture methodology, framework, and practice at Hilton.

How You Will Make An Impact

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. **

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like**

  • Establish, develop, and optimize the business architecture practice within the enterprise, fostering an environment that enables the successful execution of business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-level enterprise business capability model.
  • Identify, curate, and refine important business architecture artifacts and processes required to enable Hilton's multi-year business strategies.
  • Be an expert and champion for business architecture, educating and influencing partners on the benefits, approaches, and strategies of business architecture.
  • Lead high-level solution design to ensure understanding of technology execution with business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to spearhead new technology assessments and make recommendations.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Develop consensus and guide change management across multiple Business and Technology partners.
  • Work with the technology teams to help drive strategy to execution.
  • Work with broader architecture to incorporate business architecture as a critical step in technology execution.
  • Partner with business and product teams to clarify strategic intentions, identify business outcomes, explore implications, impacts, and risks and address partner questions.

What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of

  • Establish a Business Architecture Practice, including a Business Architect Community of Practice.
  • Collaborate to document and maintain an Enterprise Capability Model and Enterprise Reference Architecture.
  • Collaborate to identify, and operationalize Architectural Standards, Principles, and Guidelines.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You Have These Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • Nine (9) years of Enterprise Architecture or Business Architecture experience
  • Experience with TOGAF or BizBOK
  • Experience developing and working with Business Models, Technology Models, and Operating Models
  • Experience with business capability-based planning, business capability modeling, and business value streams
  • Experience applying Business Architecture in Agile and Scaled Agile Delivery
  • Experience with business and technology re-engineering and transformation principles and processes
  • Travel up to 25%

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 10+ years of Information Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Twelve (12) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Ten (10) + years of Enterprise Architecture or Business Architecture experience
  • Five (5) + years of working in a scaled Agile delivery environment
  • Expert-level understanding of Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, and Solution Architecture
