85SIXTY is looking for a Sr. Media Buyer with experience buying and managing Paid Search, PMAX, Discovery, GDN and YouTube ads across Google and Bing. This role handles day-to-day buying and optimization across a portfolio of clients.

This person will be responsible for working with clients and internal team members to define objectives and KPI’s, plan and execute Paid Search strategy, tactics, media plan as well as devising methods for accurately measuring performance against the client’s goals.

85SIXTY has a highly collaborative approach and as such, your digital media expertise will be combined with the knowledge of other team members to create an integrated client strategy rooted in performance. We are currently working remotely. We do have offices in San Diego and Denver. We expect to support flexible working schedules and locations as we go forward.

We have a focus on active lifestyle brands, eCommerce and Travel & Hospitality. Experience working with these types of brands as well as a personal affinity towards these categories is a plus. **

Responsibilities:**

  • Aid in the creation of client media objectives and strategies.
  • Build and manage Paid Search, PMAX, YouTube, Demand Gen/Discovery and GDN campaigns.
  • Analyze real-time results and optimize campaigns to improve performance and assure contracted delivery.
  • Utilize internally developed cross-channel optimization tools to drive continual performance.
  • Deliver and present campaign performance projections and analysis with an eye towards future implications.
  • Proactively help and collaborate with the Paid Search team across clients for QA, observations, improvement opportunities, and builds as needed.
  • Communicate with the Account Management, Planning and Analytics teams to manage, maintain and enhance performance across assigned accounts.
  • Communicate directly with clients on performance, optimization and projects
  • Collaborate with team members in creating full-funnel integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Monitor emerging industry trends in digital marketing. Meet with and vet potential media and technology vendors.
  • Collaborate with organic search teams on keyword research and landing page insights as needed for the accounts.
  • Manage up to two Search team members and mentor them.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Google and Bing campaigns against client goals with at least 6-figure monthly budgets.
  • 5+ years of Paid Search buying experience
  • 4+ years of Paid Search buying experience as your sole responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to execute performance driven digital media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the general activation capabilities of all available digital media tactics.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel (pivot tables and formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and capable of creating solutions and resolving issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fun environment.
  • Shopping feed management including troubleshooting within Merchant Center and Shopify is a plus.
  • Experience in retail marketplaces (ie Sponsored Products campaigns across Amazon/WFG , Walmart, Roundel, etc) is a plus.
  • Call Tracking experience within Paid Search campaigns is a plus.
  • Certification in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. GA4 certification is a plus.

Compensation Disclaimer:

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education, skills and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). 85SIXTY reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. **
