Job Overview**

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, data/systems Senior Sales Coordinator with a focus on carbon accounting services within the environmental certification services team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting in driving business growth by cultivating new client relationships and expanding our market presence in the sustainability and environmental services sector. **

Essential Duties And Responsibilities**

Client Relationship Management

  • Research client names and contact information, and compile lists for outreach
  • Respond to leads via email, phone, and our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Qualify leads; Assess current status and interest in SCS climate services
  • Establish client records in Salesforce
  • Assist in generation of proposals and work orders (quotes within Salesforce)
  • Follow up on in-bound inquiries, set client meeting for Sales Director, and make outside sales calls including cold-calling new leads (as needed)
  • Data entry, scoping applications/client leads, draft proposals and work orders, conduct follow up on outstanding proposals
  • Support trade show preparation and follow up, including research and outreach to attendees (as needed)
  • Compile prospect lists and profiles and generate content for communications
  • Develop and conduct email and phone campaigns to lead lists
  • Conduct industry and competitive analysis including services, pricing, target markets
  • Use Salesforce to collect data and statistics for sales forecasts and detailed sales reports
  • Maintain client information in the database

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Environmental degree minimum. MBA a plus or
  • equivalent professional experience in a relevant field and
  • 3+ years of customer service or account support experience and
  • Fluent in English in both verbal and written communication;
  • Customer service focus; internal and external with proven results in high-level customer engagement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce. HubSpot is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to complete tasks in a timely, efficient, and effective manner
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, highly self-motivated, proactive, systems thinker, and a fast learner with a positive attitude and communication style
  • Initiative, good judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and teamwork orientation with a desire to move into a full time sales executive role within 1-2 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-lingual, fluency in another language

Working Remotely**

SCS is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This is a home-office based role and may include travel with local, domestic, and/or international trips. Details will be clarified during the recruitment process. **

Estimated Annual Salary**

$50,918.40 - $66,266.74 **
