The Role**
We are seeking a Territory Manager to be a Sales Representative for the Adhesives Division West Assembly and Packaging market segments, covering California, Arizona, Texas, and northern Mexico.
May telecommute from any US work location. Report to HQ in Minnetonka, MN. **
Key Responsibilities**
Duties include negotiating contracts, prepare and submitting sales contracts for orders, maintaining customer records and answering customer questions about adhesive products and solutions, and provide customers with ongoing technical support. Work through the sales process to identify, quantify, and justify the appropriate value proposition and production process improvements for the individual customer application, matching their needs with our capabilities to provide a technical solution. Visit customer sites for sales presentations and product installations. Prepare sales presentations and proposals to explain adhesives applications. Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage the sales and customer management processes. Recognize competitive forces and prepare sales strategies to offset them. Use technical and scientific knowledge of chemical engineering to perform daily duties, including performing analysis of specialty chemicals and adhesives to identify, reduce, and eliminate waste in a process while understanding current process metrics and documenting improvements (statistically) as generated company solutions. Use knowledge of the market and on the major applications, processes, and technologies that are typically found in the assigned market areas. Travel is intrinsic to the role and normal to the occupation. Travel is required within the West Sales region up to 50% of the time. Spanish fluency is required to communicate with customers in the West Sales region. **
Experience And Qualifications**
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equiv. in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 2 years related experience. Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) Direct sales experience in the industrial adhesives market; (2) Creating and maintaining customer accounts based on customer relationships; (3) Analysis of specialty chemicals and adhesives to recommend product solutions; and (4) Using CRM software for sale and customer management processes. Spanish fluency is required to communicate with customers in the West Sales region. Pre-employment background check required. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Travel required within the West Sales region up to 50% of the time. Full-time position. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. Report to HQ in Minnetonka, MN. **
