Overview of Role:
It is our ambition at National Pen to drive growth of our business through our Drop Ship Vendors (or Third Party Fulfillers). We will drive expansion through all our categories with specific focus on Bags, Drinkware and Writing instruments. To support this growth, we are expanding our Vendor Team and the primary purpose of this role is to establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with our Drop Ship Vendors
What you will do: - Leading and managing the relationships between our Vendors and internal business partners. - Cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors to promote open communication, trust, and long-term partnerships. - Continuously assessing vendor performance against established benchmarks and KPIs, and addressing any issues or non-compliance - Leading weekly operational, Quarterly Business Review and Annual Partnership meetings where required - Leading the negotiations with Vendors including Pricing Conditions, Spend Rebates, Production Turn Around Times - Working close with the Merchandising Team to source new products and categories in alignment with the Merch Team strategy. - Liaise with the Vendor and Internal Business Partners to ensure timely and successful new product launches. - Sourcing for new dropship vendor according to merchandising needs - Onboard new vendors (contract, fulfillment ordering process, logistic set up, etc…) - Rationalise the Supplier base where needed. - Leading and developing the NA Vendor Administrator
What we need from you: - College degree or equivalent experience - 5+ Years experience in Vendor Manager/Supplier Relationship Management Role - Experience in Promotional Products Industry strongly desired but not essential - Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel required; CAD knowledge preferred. - Strong leadership, motivational, and team building skills required. - Ability to quickly analyze and solve complex problems required. - Team player, comfortable building effective relationships with business partners - Goal orientated; ability to stay focused on delivering results. - Strong organizational and time management skills - Flexibility to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment with multiple priorities. - You may need to travel occasionally to Industry Trade Shows - This position is a remote working position.
