Security Specialist System Administrator
Salary Range: PHP88,000 - PHP110,000/month
Location: Taytay | San Mateo | Makati | Naga | Ortigas
Work set up: Work from Home/Hybrid **
Minimum Qualifications**
- 7-10 years of Linux system administration and deployment experience.
- Proficient in Linux distributions, especially RHEL.
- Hands-on experience in security systems, firewalls, intrusion detection, anti-virus, authentication systems, and log management.
- Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible), code management (GIT, GitLab), and IT technologies (DevOps, TDD, CI/CD).
- IP network troubleshooting skills (Wireshark).
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a plus.
- Experience with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management tools and assessment processes.
- Experience in conducting penetration testing and interpreting results.
- Ability to identify threats, recommend countermeasure, and perform advanced trend analysis.
- Strong documentation skills related to IT infrastructure, security tools, and best practices.
- Understanding of risk assessment methods and technologies.
