Please Note: While listed as a remote opportunity this position requires the right candidate to live or be willing to relocate to and work on-site in one of the following areas: Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, St Louis, or DC. Travel to sites or clinics within driving or flying distance from these cities will be required.

Clinical Operations Manager’s Main Objective:

• Achieve monthly target revenue and profitability goals for sites under management
• Identify strategic study opportunities and resource allocation
• Coach and develop site managers in their current roles to improve performance and prepare for future opportunities - this is a strong people management role!
• Travel to the sites under your management as well as study meetings, be a hands-on leader
• Implement and maintain performance management system
• Fortify relationships with PIs and clinic staff at sites
• Develop strategic capability of sites under management, participate in business development

Skills needed to win: - Required : 2 years (5 years preferred) of progressive, demonstrable people management experience (which includes experience with both direct and indirect reports, hiring and interviewing, performance reviews , 1:1s, corrective action, and terminations) - Required: ability to travel 50% - 75% of the time to clinics in your region - Required: experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) - Required: Possess general knowledge of medical terminology and a background in healthcare/clinical operations - Required: Experience managing goals and KPIs - Preferred: B.S or B.A from any accredited university, Registered Nurse (R.N.), Licensed practical nurse (L.P.N), Medical Assistant, Radiology Technician, Respiratory Therapist, Physical Therapist - Preferred: 2 years of physician management or transferable experience - Preferred: 2 years of financial management experience over a larger site/facility, or multiple smaller sites/facilities

The right candidate will: - Have a passion for managing, mentoring and developing others - Care deeply about building and maintaining customer/client/patient relationships - Be able to pivot in unforeseen circumstances, with short-notice, to solve immediate problems with calm and decisive confidence - Be action-biased and humble to learn - Believe in high quality and have a high standard of compliance to our study protocols - Be stunningly, remarkably organized - Accept ownership of tasks from inception through completion and assume responsibility for personal success - Love efficiency and continuously look for ways to do more with less, improve processes and come in under budget
