JOB TITLE – Inside Sales Business Development Manager (South West Territory) **

DEPARTMENT – Commercial, Sales

LOCATION – Remote/ Work From Home

WORKING HOURS – Monday - Friday, 8:30-4:30

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team as an Inside Sales Business Development Manager for a leading global manufacturer of contact lenses _.

_ You will be responsible for sales, development and growth of a defined customer group in alignment with company sales processes, plans and objectives. You will build and maintain excellent customer relationships to support solid business growth and implement a consultative selling style that operates independently on a daily basis. **

Essential functions & responsibilities:**

  • Sales management of all customers within the defined territory providing a principle point of contact for Cooper Vision with the overall objective of achieving long term, year on year sales growth
  • Day to day management of the territory, designated customers and Cooper Vision’s products and services.
  • To develop and introduce new products to customers on behalf of the Company to maximize sales growth opportunities
  • Have outstanding knowledge of Cooper Visions products, clinical and technical information, product strategy, market and commercial positioning and brand messages to assist customers in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • To deliver training programmes to retail staff as agreed to improve knowledge of CooperVisions products and placement
  • To organise and execute clinical training in liaison with the Professional Services team to improve clinical knowledge of employees and build brand loyalty
  • To form close relationships with Regional Managers and representatives within the account structure to provide the platform for commercial, retail training and educational programmes
  • To service the customer base of the company, using a blended contact approach of virtual and phone meetings with occasional face 2 face. Liaise with Customer Services to ensure service levels are both maintained and acceptable to the account
  • To represent the Company at seminars, exhibitions and meetings as required to enhance the customer experience when interacting with CooperVisions team members
  • To attend all sales meetings to ensure understanding of Company direction, action plans and required performance in different areas of work.
  • To accurately complete all reporting and administrative duties as laid down at any time including the upkeep of the designated CRM system and a complete set of customer records for the designated area to ensure all knowledge is shared for the company benefit.

Work Environment

  • Home based role, with occasional national travel including overnight stays and weekend working.
  • Ability to travel approximately one day per quarter to key Eye Care Practitioners to anywhere in the country.
