About You…

You know you’re brilliant at selling on the phone or in person. You’re supremely articulate and confident in your ability to close. And you regularly meet sales targets. All you need is an organisation with a compelling sales proposition, the growth trajectory and vision to match your ambition.

You’re self-driven, client focussed, tenacious and able to succeed in just about any environment. But you know you could achieve more with the right company supporting you. After all, business is about creating a win-win-win approach.

This isn’t a role where you are spoon-fed clients, although leads and lists will be provided. You will tap your networks of business owners and key decision makers who are responsible for hiring staff whether it be on a fixed term or permanent employment basis.

Your ability to execute a proactive sales approach and close sales either by phone, in person or via email will be crucial to your success.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Promote the company's value proposition and build long-term business relationships with existing and new clients.  
  • Develop proposals and follow through to close the sale.
  • Schedule necessary appointments where it adds value.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from opportunity to close.
  • Enter client engagements and data records into the company’s CRM to assist in marketing efforts.

The skills required…

In this position, you will need to be comfortable with talking to business owners as well as key decision makers over the phone or in person and can provide solutions to help clients in meeting their resourcing requirements. You will probably have some experience in professional services sales, but your ability to build relationships and enthusiasm for sales is more important than industry experience alone.

  • Experience in a professional services sales role.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in learning and articulating new services and solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and execute sales over the phone or in person.
  • Results driven and self-motivating.
  • Experience in recording accurate information from customer engagements.
  • Providing client feedback to the company’s management in support of promotional activities.
